This workshop is designed to explain the importance of circle time and to enhance literacy and language as a part of circle time. One of the most important parts of learning together is observation. Each child has their own unique learning style. Some are visual learners, while others are tactile or auditory learners. Understanding how children learn will help educators create an inspiring literacy environment.

Some of these guidelines include:

• Engaging children during circle time
• Creating materials for circle time (Ex. felt book, sensory board, etc.)

Participants will receive a variety of ideas, materials and tips on how to engage their children during circle time and make the most of group learning experiences.
